Our aims are:

  1. To systematically enhance and promote Assistive Technologies for the benefit of people with disabilities (Disabled), the elderly and generally people with special needs,
  2. To promote increased professional interest and awareness of those who may plan, research, develop, apply and assess Assistive Technology,
  3. To provide knowledge, expertise, counselling and support to all those working  in  public and private sectors, who make decisions related to  Assistive Technology,
  4. To achieve joint goals of HAAT and of its members, by any means possible, indicative but not exclusively, for promotion, research, development, implementation, evaluation, consultancy and other services and implementation issues related to Assistive Technology.
